Health and Weight Loss
Tools to lose weight and stay healthy
Nobody wants to lose weight, yet most people want to be healthy! The truth of the matter is we lose weight to BE HEALTHY, not lose weight. This might seem like an insignificant statement, but it is not. In fact, it is key to you losing weight.
If you want to succeed with your weight loss goals, then you must change your thinking and your habits. Over 90% of people fail in the long run of losing weight and keeping it off. This is because they focus on a GOAL and not habits.
Focus on Activity
Instead, focus on activity. Activity creates habits and are permanent. Goals tend not to last. Instead of making your goal to lose 2 pounds this week, make your goal to go to the gym for 15 minutes 5 days this week. This will start to develop your habit of working out that will RESULT in the weight falling off.
You may be thinking 15 minutes? That won’t do anything. I disagree. You want your activity to be easy at first so you will be comfortable developing the right habit. Eventually, you will start to think “I can do this. In fact, I think I will try working out for 30 minutes today”. Consequently, your time will start to grow, your weight loss will increase, and you have created a life-changing habit.
